Vasectomy |
|
Vasectomy is a process for men to go through to make them no longer be able to have children biologically or to make them sterile. Vasectomy basically is a no operation that would disallow the sperm to go through the tubes where the sperm would go into the semen. Men sperm is produced in a man’s testis but then is stored in another place like a sack, known as an epididymis. During sexual climax, the sperm move from the epididymis through a tube called the vas deferens and mix with other components of semen to form the fluid that is ejaculated.
Every type of vasectomy method is to design to cut or either bock both left and the right vas deferens. Meaning, when a man ejaculates, their ejaculation will not contain sperm. Detailed in, meaning that he would not be possible to make any women pregnant. In a vasectomy method a physician will make one or two small cuts in the skin of the scrotum. Before this incision, the scrotum has been numbed with local anesthetic. When the vas is open, there may be a piece removed by the physician. After this procedure, the physician will then tie the cut end then will sew up the section where cuts where made. Being that this is one scrotum, and most men have two, this technique is repeated on the other side.
Another vasectomy called the no-scalpel vasectomy is when the doctor touches for the vas under the skin of the scrotum; then holds it in place with a small clamp. With this procedure, doctors used a specialized instrument to make a tiny cut in the skin which will stretch it out so that the vas can be cut and tied. With this no-scalpel vasectomy there would be little bleeding and stitches would not be required. Making them heal faster on their own. With this way of a vasectomy, it would have less pain with less complication than common vasectomy.
This method was tested by a Chinese surgeon, who helped find another way possible other than the common vasectomy operation. A no-scalpel vasectomy had taken the place of the common way since 1974. The no-scalpel method had been introduced into the United States in 1988, and since then many doctors worldwide have been using this method. |
